Sanjit put the message across very neatly along with the warning on being careful about the sun while you are absorbing your Vitamin D.

Luke's layout is truly eye-catching. He added a fact about Vitamin K which even Lynne didn't know.

Newsletter No 4, March 2009

Dear Supporter,

As the days are lengthening and warming up, we hope this finds you benefiting from the first signs of spring.

Our first meeting at the church hall of St John the Baptist Church in Spon Street in the City Centre was very well attended and we were heartened to see a lot of new faces. There is a serving hatch from the kitchen straight into the hall, so refreshments are easily accessed the whole time. If you are coming for the first time, be sure to walk around the church building to the left as you face it and use the hall’s entrance from the garden.

About the National Osteoporosis Society

The National Osteoporosis Society (NOS) is the only UK national charity which is dedicated to improving the diagnosis, prevention and management of this disease.

Outreach

For a £25 all-in fee (subject to negotiation for small groups and charities) we provide an audio-visual presentation about osteoporosis and the work of the National Osteoporosis Society.   (As we are all volunteers, we donate our time and energy to the national society and to our -- unsubsidised -- support group.)   Monies raised go towards our ongoing expenses, fundraising for the national society and projects to promote awareness of osteoporosis and its prevention and treatment.
